Pinky Taylor aka pinkypop123 is originally from South Africa, where his interest in art started when he was three-years-old. He was sent to Japan for his first exhibition at age 8, and it established his destiny to create. At 16 he left school to attend Art College; after graduating he decided to pursue a career in music, after feeling burnt out on art.
Currently residing in California after coming to the States on a musician artist visa with his former band, who eventually broke up. He then decided to get back to his roots as an artist, incorporating his original works on a variety of mediums from the streets to canvas to clothing, etc.
Although he misses the perfect waves of South Africa, he finds the States very inspiring for his art, with its diverse surroundings, inspiring talent & opportunities...
Pinky’s artistic style portrays childhood images of created characters who reflect on typical situations including their take on life, friends and the forces of good and evil in an emotional and to-the-point manner.
