VOLCOM X EMERGING CHINESE CREATIVES SCREEN PRINTING WORKSHOP IN SHANGHAI

On Saturday, July 17th, the source brought a summer backyard bbq indoors, in celebration of the first Volcom event in mainland China. For the Volcom x Emerging Chinese Creatives Screen Printing Event, presented by source, Neocha Edge and Idle Beats, the source gallery was brimming with screen printers and summer party-goers. The likes of Beijingers Wang Meng and Chairman Ca, and Shanghaiers Nini Sum, Elephant and Jellymon, helped source guests to create Volcom screen printed artwork on construction paper and t-shirts.
With grass under feet and a Brooklyn landscape in the backyard, the many source guests could kick off their shoes, grab a German sausage, and take advantage of free wine from our sponsor Yellow Tail. Tunes were presented by the Uighur Jimmy Hendrix himself Hassan and his partner Sara Routh, and guests of all ages screen printed with Volcom till the sun went down.
