Store Bio:
Formerly the Aladdin Hotel and Casino, Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino plays host to the Miracle Mile Shops where you can find Volcom Las Vegas – the 10th and latest Volcom Store to open in the U.S. This particular location is our first ever indoor mall venue, and like most malls, has everything from high end fashion to a gnarly food court. But only in Vegas will you find customers shopping with a jack and coke in hand, straight from the bar located in the center of the Miracle Mile shops. Or better yet, no other Volcom Store has customers stumbling in spending duckets of cash after winning big in the PH casino located only 50 feet from the store. That said, this Volcom Store is a double whammy experience for any Volcomite visiting Las Vegas.

The ultra-stoked store staff are bleeding Volcom and the merchandise is, as always, the latest and greatest including Limited Edition Volcom Las Vegas tees and hoodies. You can find the store easily accessible on the Las Vegas Blvd strip just inside the entrance to the Miracle Mile Shops. Whether you’re holding three of a kind or hitting on 15, Volcom Las Vegas is a sure bet on your next trip to Sin City!

Store Manager – Colin Ford

Colin Ford is a Vegas transplant by way of Michigan. In late ’07 this funky-haired freakazoid hung up surfing the Great Lakes for the desert night life and a career in retail. It seems that he has found a permanent home with the Volcom Family and possesses mad merchandising skills and a passion for crushing it in sales. Stop by and check out how tight he and his team keep this store, and hit him up for advice on where to find the best sushi in town.

TWEAK BIRD PERFORMS AT THE VOLCOM STORE IN LAS VEGAS DURING SIA!! WATCH THE VIDEO HERE...

The Blizzard Bizarre Tour launched from Volcom headquarters in Costa Mesa with Tweak Bird, Kandi Coded, and the Volcom bus followed filled to the brim with with snow team riders and goodies, and after crazy shows at Detroit Bar and on the sun deck at Big Bear, the tour pulled into Sin City for some gambling and SIA fun.

We spent the first night running around the Orleans casino, placing bets and downing shots and cocktails, and then Kandi Coded invaded the bowling center and spent hours battling for bragging rights. Jack Endino gave a good chase to Jamie Lynn, but in the end Jamie beat the pack and came out of the alleys victorious.

On night number 2 we hit the buffet at Planet Hollywood and crawled our way to the service elevators to sneak our gear to the 2nd floor of the Miricle Mile shops where the Volcom Store is located. After stuffing the elevator with drums and cabs we rode up and pushed all the equipment to the store and began setting up right in the front window. People started flowing into the store and into the hallway and continued to grow thicker and thicker until it was elbow to elbow all around us. We turned on the gear and Tweak Bird began making noise drawing everyone in even closer and tighter..."Where's Wooly? We are not starting without Wooly!" We let the guitar ring some more while we had some beers, the front window was shaking so hard I thought it was going to break. We saw that everyone was accounted for and Tweak Bird exploded into a heavy set.

Some folks had massage chairs set up in the hallway, and they knocked on the window to get my attention. I looked at them and they yelled, "We can hear it out here!" I responded, "Yeah, I know."

After about 25-30 minutes I saw security starting to enter the store and talk to the team, "This is the last song." So after the last song, (stretched out of course), it was over and hundreds of super stoked rock fans cheered in euphoric happiness...

The Blizzard Bizarre Tour is still on the road!! Catch Tweak Bird and Kandi Coded in Seattle and Mt. Baker this week! Check the tour dates out on our tour page...

Long live the noise....MarkG
